Can I use PHAs every day?
For sensitive skin, dermatologists generally recommend starting with one PHA product twice or three times a week. If you don’t notice any irritation, gradually increase usage to once or even twice a day.
How does PHA work?
Polyhydroxy acid sloughs away dead skin cells from the surface so your skin can ‘breathe’. This action also helps skin soak in the benefits of other skincare products.
Does PHA help with wrinkles?
Routine use of PHAs leaves your skin immaculately exfoliated and hydrated – that means smoother plumper skin, fewer fine lines and minimized signs of aging.
Do PHAs tighten pores?
PHAs are known to help make your pores appear smaller.
Can you mix PHAs with retinol?
Most say not to blend AHAs or BHAs with retinol, but PHAs play nicer with others. For sensitive skin, we recommend introducing the mix slowly and watching for redness or blemishes.
