Founded in 2017, The OUT Foundation is a nonprofit organization that removes the barriers that block LGBTQ+ individuals’ access to and participation in fitness, health, and wellness to ensure their success.

The OUT Foundation’s programs for the LGBTQ+ community include OUTAthletics, OUTAthlete, and OUTHealth. OUTAthletics is the world’s largest initiative for bringing together LGBTQ+ athletes and allies to sweat for a cause in a safe, inclusive fitness environment powered by pride, diversity, and community. OUTAthlete is a scholarship program that facilitates year-long gym memberships for LGBTQ+ young adults. OUTHealth provides support services to the LGBTQ+ community living their true authentic selves with an overarching goal of improving mental and physical health.

Through their programming, we will be supporting their fitness and wellness initiatives across the U.S., and are committing to help amplify these LGTBQ+ voices and stories.

In 2021, Garnier helped The OUT Foundation make a big impact. Here’s our support in numbers:
- 321 LGBTQ+ athletes from 25 countries around the world participated in Garnier's sponsored OUT in the Open, the first and only all-inclusive CrossFit Games leaderboard.
- 194 LGBTQ+ community members gained free access to programming in strength, gymnastics, running and functional fitness from Garnier's sponsored OUTAthletics Community group.
- 120 LGBTQ+ athletes and allies joined in from 4 gyms across the country to sweat for a cause, network, and celebrate PRIDE month.
- 4 Community Advocates featured on Garnier’s PRIDE Instagram series, sharing experiences as LGBTQ+ athletes and education on LGBTQ+ athlete engagement.
